The short version
You buy ready-to-use templates or a setup service, we deliver them as digital files by email, and you can cancel within 14 days if they're not right for you. The free tools are estimates to help you plan — not formal tax advice.
The products
- Sole Trader Starter Pack (£19): five ready-to-use templates (invoice, client contract, rate card & pricing worksheet, self-assessment checklist and expense tracker).
- Done-for-you Setup (£49): the same templates personalised to your business, plus a 30-minute video walkthrough.
Digital delivery
All products are digital. After you pay, we email you a download link (or send the files directly) — usually within 24 hours for the Starter Pack and within 3 working days for the Setup service. You're responsible for saving your downloads; if you lose them, contact us and we'll re-send the links.
Your licence
You may use the templates in your own business work with as many clients as you like. You can't resell or redistribute the unmodified files themselves (e.g. on a template marketplace) without asking us first.
Estimates are not tax advice
The pricing calculator and any figures we quote are estimates based on UK rates at the time of writing, provided for guidance only. They don't take your personal circumstances into account. For decisions that affect your tax bill, check with HMRC or a qualified accountant.
Refunds & cancellation
- Starter Pack: email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund — no forms, no fuss.
- Digital content (the 14-day rule): under UK consumer law you can cancel within 14 days. Because the files are downloaded straight away, we ask that you confirm by email before deleting them; once you've clearly asked us to start delivering digital content and it has begun, your right to cancel ends when we finish sending it.
- Setup service: because this is personalised work done to order, the 14-day right applies from the day you confirm the order. If you change your mind before we start, we'll refund in full; after we've started, we'll agree a fair partial refund.
